HI! I'm Viona and my blog covers everything I like about fashion and street style.
The letters V and W are my initials (Viona Wang) and here are some facts about me:
1) While I was pursuing an Economics degree in a Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, I went to Sweden for an overseas exchange program. I met people who are passionate about their career and inspired me to follow my dreams in fashion.
2) I exposed myself to all aspects of the fashion industry as much as I can. Anything from being a dresser for Audi Fashion Festival 2010 to retail operations assistant for Prada, having freelanced at E-zines Herworldplus.com (still do!), GlamAsia, TiVanity and more, is a stepping stone for me to reach what I love, which is fashion writing, street style and travel photography.
3) After winning Uniqlo's UNIQLOOKS contest in 2011, I extended my three day all-expense paid trip to NYC to three months to attend New York Fashion Week and interned for Refinery29.com and ELLE.com. I know it was a great opportunity for me but sadly, I couldn't stay longer.
4) I love the works of Alexander Lee McQueen and the 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty' exhibition is something I will never forget. Ever.
5) I am an avid traveller, especially to the most exotic places in the world. I spent a month in Jordan being 'Indiana Jones' for an archaeology project. Who says somebody in fashion can't dig in the desert?
6) My favourite street photographer is Steve McCurry.

8) In my college days, I was in the Outdoor Adventure Club where I once climbed ten mountains in ten days during an expedition. I still want to continue trekking around the world.
9) I got to ask Anna Wintour (Yes, ANNA WINTOUR) to pose for ME! at the Diane von Furstenburg SS 2012 show!
10) Other than fashion, street style and photography, I'm a huge fan of the one and only Quentin Tarantino.
